On Saturday, June 27th, Riverboat Gamblers bandmates Ian MacDougall and frontman Mike Wiebe will host an unfiltered live event. Drawing from over two decades of touring and making music together, the duo will bypass the standard interview format to share authentic industry insights. Attendees can expect:

Welcome to the first monthly installment of “Interviews with Ian,” presented by Every Body Jams!
This live, in-person event is on May 30 from 12pm to 1:30pm, and hosted by our own Ian MacDougall.
Our first guest will be drummer extraordinaire Michael McDermott of Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Bouncing Souls, and more.
We’ll go over his storied career, how he got his start in music, the rigors of touring the world, drumming tips and techniques, and what it takes to be a professional full-time musician in this day and age. We’ll open it up to a Q&A at the end.
